Chang Hwa Bank has selected Todos as supplier of OTP server and eCode Connectable reader  

  Gothenburg (Sweden), July 28, 2005.. Todos Data System AB‘s (Todos) partner in Taiwan, Financial eSolution Co (FeSC), has signed an agreement with Chang Hwa Commercial Bank Ltd., (CHB). The OTP contract entails Todos as supplier of a complete authentication solution to CHB‘s Internet Banking services. Todos is going to deliver the eCode Central System (server) that supports printed One Time Password (OTP), SMS sent OTP and FISC II OTP; Todos will also deliver a newly introduced eCode reader: eCode Connectable, which is a smart card reader for Web-ATM service that is a common financial service over Internet in Taiwan. Todos eCode Connectable is a portable smart card reader with USB port, LCD and keyboard that can be used as a portable OTP token as well as PC/SC reader for smart card.

Mr. Richard Chen, the CMO of FeSC declares: “We are glad that Todos can offer new products that meet local market demands in Taiwan; here the competition is the toughest in the world! Chang Hwa Bank order is the proof that we together are grapping this market for OTP and even Web-ATM applications.“

This is a second order from another state-owned bank in Taiwan after the order from Bank of Taiwan in May 2005. Todos will deliver a new product named eCode Connectable that is a mix of a USB card reader where the customer can “sign what you see" on the reader and a portable OTP (One Time Password) token. Bank of Taiwan has also upgraded its order to this new product. This solution can stop all frauds on Internet and we are sure that new orders are to follow in Taiwan within short!“ says Maw-Tsong Lin, CEO at Todos.
