Trüb AG is celebrating the shipment of its ten millionth CombOS® chip module. CombOS® is a chip card operating system for EMV bank cards developed by Trüb AG.
Credit and debit card issuers need secure certified chip modules for payment and authentication purposes. Trüb AG successfully developed their own product, CombOS®, an EMV (Europay/
MasterCard/Visa) operating system for bank cards. CombOS® modules can be used for both debit and credit cards, eBanking and eCommerce cards too. CombOS® is very attractive to card issuers with a multi-brand strategy because it offers the MasterCard and Visa payment systems on the same platform. To date Trüb AG has supplied the market with more than ten million CombOS® chip modules.
The CombOS® chip card operating system is used by high profile customers in Switzerland as well as abroad. For example, UBS, Cornèr Bank, Swisscard, PostFinance, Swissbankers and Jelmoli use the chip module of Trüb. Internationally, many leading banks especially in Germany, the Middle East, the Baltic and Russia have chosen the Trüb chip module
