Zebra Technologies Launches Global Partner Programme for
Independent Software Vendors
Zebra Technologies Corporation today announced the launch of its Independent Software Vendor (ISV) Partner Programme, designed to foster stronger and more innovative partnerships between Zebra and the ISV partner community. As an element of Zebra's channel development strategy, the ISV programme highlights the importance Zebra places on the ISV's role in developing new technology solutions.
Andrew Tay, President of Zebra Technologies, Asia Pacific explains, "The ISV Partner Programme marks Zebra's dedication in building truly holistic business solutions. Traditionally, enterprise solutions are developed separately - some vendors specialise in software, some in hardware. Businesses buy into one or the other, and spend some time calibrating them into a system.
With the ISV Partner Programme, Zebra will invest in our ISV partners to collaboratively develop holistic technology solutions seamlessly integrate into existing IT infrastructure speeding time to market. And Zebra is proud to announce our first partner collaboration with NewsPage, with whom we are creating the first series of mobile business solutions."
ISV partners will have access to dedicated technical resources who understand the complexities of application development, an ISV developer portal with Software Development Kits, Sample Source Code, and interactive forums.
Through the new programme, ISVs can also leverage Zebra's reseller channel and global sales resources, as well as global alliance partnerships that include Motorola, IBM, Oracle and SAP.

Zebra will also be showcasing the new ZXP Series 3 printer at Cards Asia. This printer is equipped with full smart card encoding features, fast print speed and improved picture quality. The compact size direct-to-card printer is easy to use and set-up for a variety of applications including ID and access control cards, and personalized gift, membership and loyalty cards.
