Inspired by their new retail banking vision, Aktif Bank, who had recently undertaken the project involving fee collection operations for the transportation system in Kayseri, has now operationalized via its subsidiary called E-Kent Aktif38 which is Turkey's first city card implementation specifically designed for the city of Kayseri.

Aktif38, which embodies a chip technology and is based on a prepaid system, will be used in all transactions such as public transportation, shopping and dining necessary for maintaining daily life in the city. These personalized cards will also offer special discounts as well as bonus points.

At the press conference, Aktif Bank Deputy General Manager in Charge of Retail Banking Operations Murat Emre DUMAN pointed out that the prepaid nature of Aktif38, which will be valid for all transactions involving every aspect of daily life, will allow Kayseri residents to perform their daily transactions securely and pleasantly while earning bonus points and without becoming indebted.

From neighborhood farmers market to the grocery store, from pharmacy to bakery, from public transportation to supermarkets, Aktif38 will be valid at many points of sale. Thanks to its prepaid system, Aktif38, while eliminating the need to carry cash, will prevent the cardholder from becoming indebted.

As Aktif38 does not charge any interest for transactions performed, it also saves time with its contactless transaction feature. Kayseri residents will also be able to get help by calling Aktif38 Call Center upon encountering difficulties involving plumbing and electrical wiring, lock changing, window breaking and emergency
