TelecomsVISION switches on at GSM>3G Middle East & Gulf
A new web TV channel dedicated to interviews and webinars had a highly successful launch on telecoms.com last month at the 3SM>3G Middle East & Gulf event held in Dubai.
TelecomsVISION launched with 'GSM>3G MEG TV', a series of professionally filmed five minute interviews, broadcast simultaneously over the web and to a big screen on the exhibition floor.
Interviews on 'GSM>3G MEG TV' included ten high profile global operators and vendors from the Middle East region, including the CEO of MTC, Marwan Al-Ahmadi and MCI's senior consultant and programme director HR Nikoofar. The broadcast was extremely well received by the industry.
Al-Ahmadi, CEO of MTC, the owner of the most expensive mobile licence in history, shared his views on 'GSM>3G MEG TV' and the opportunities within the Middle East after launching into Saudi Arabia with the exhibition floor.
Speaking about GSM>3G Middle East & Gulf, he said: "The event is important for various reasons, it's the largest forum in the region where operators, vendors, thought-leaders and regulatory bodies can meet to exchange ideas and to create common understanding of the industry in the region".
