Secure keyboard checks fingerprints by Cherry Electrical
The UPEK TCS1 capacitive fingerprint sensor with TouchChip technology protects against unauthorised access, offering a resolution of 256 x 360 pixels
Cherry's G83-14401/15401 Fingertip ID keyboards have an integrated fingerprint sensor and PC/SC smart card reader (G83-14401 only) and are aimed at professional users in applications such as the police, banking, schools and retail. The UPEK TCS1 capacitive fingerprint sensor with TouchChip technology protects against unauthorised access, offering a resolution of 256 x 360 pixels.
The optional smart card reader is Cardman 3121-compliant and connects to the PC via a USB cable.
