Tagattitude Announces Mobile Payment Solution for French Poilâne bakery
Famous French bakery, Poilâne has decided to use TagPay as a solution to send gifts to friends and family. The Poilâne website offers customers the possibility of buying bread and pastries online. TagPay vouchers are used to send gifts from the Poilâne website that can be redeemed on the web or in the bakeries. Purchases on the web and in stores are made by mobile phone using TagPay.
The service is being launched for the Mobile Payment 2010 event in Paris (June 9th/ 10th).
Tagattitude will do live demonstrations of the TagPay mobile payment platform, showing services such as money transfers, retail payment, e-commerce transactions, and more! Each visitor on Tagattitude’s stand will receive a gift of 1 Euro on their mobile phone—any and all phones can use the service. Visitors may then spend this money to buy Poilâne goods on Tagattitude’s booth or in a Poilâne bakery . This payment is done using the visitor’s own mobile phone!
Visitors may pay for Poilâne products on the booth using Tagattitude’s new TagPay1000SMS solution. This solution allows any standard phone to initiate a payment transaction just by sending an SMS. As usual, NSDT™ is used to sign the contactless transaction securely.
