OMRON RFID Announces Compatibility with Microsoft BizTalk Platform
OMRON RFID, in cooperation with Microsoft Corporation, has developed a software driver that enables compatibility between its V750 UHF Gen 2 reader and Microsoft's BizTalk RFID platform.
Omron's V750 RFID reader product line supports a variety of global frequency bands including those specified for use in the United States, Japan and Korea. Spearheading the line-up, the US reader (V750-BA50C04-US) will be the first to offer compatibility with Microsoft BizTalk RFID.
This first driver release focuses on key tasks from the V750's diverse function menu such as reading and writing tag IDs and controlling the external I/Os. The BizTalk driver can be obtained from Omron RFID's website at www.omronrfid.com.
BizTalk RFID is a device management platform that helps RFID hardware communicate with other software programs. Its 'plug-and-play' functionality enables businesses to get RFID systems up and running quickly and efficiently.
