ID Data cards boosts mailing capability with new inserter
ID Data Cards Ltd, a member of the TALL Group of Companies, has invested £100,000 in a new mail inserting system to meet the growing demand for its plastic card fulfilment solutions. The DPS 100, from customer communications management supplier Pitney Bowes, will more than double ID Data Cards’ capacity and is expected to provide return on investment in just six months.
The mailer can handle up to 12,000 items per hour and will be located at ID Data’s purpose-built, high-security card manufacturing plant in Petersfield, Hampshire. The high productivity and flexibility of the machine will provide a very low cost per mail piece and enable the company to better deliver card solutions across all aspects of the production and fulfilment process including design, manufacturing, personalisation and mailing.
John Cooke, Business Development Director at ID Data Cards said: “This latest investment combined with the earlier launch of our one piece mailer means we possess the capability to handle the precise mailing needs of our customers. In the past 12 months we have experienced considerable demand for end-to-end card solutions, so the mailer will provide us with the capacity to undertake high volume requirements in a fast and cost effective manner.”
John Ricketts, Sales Director UK & Ireland, Pitney Bowes said: “The DPS 100 is perfectly positioned to enable businesses like ID Data Cards to take advantage of new market opportunities. We are delighted that they company selected our technology to help drive their growth.”
