High Capacity Cards
As the use of smartcards increases, so the demand for increased secure storage capacity and performance also grows.
In 2003, Ecebs developed a range of ISO compliant High Capacity Smartcards (HCC) with megabytes of secure non-volatile memory.
To date, many thousands of HCC’s have been manufactured and are in use for a variety of applications.
Imagine having a smartcard able to store large quantities of information; X-rays for medical cards, transaction logs from terminals, media files, biometric ID and more…all on the same card.
HCC features are:
Physical form factor compliant with ISO 7810 for full size or ID-000 (cell phone SIM).
ISO 7816-3 compliant I/O and ISO 7816-4 file system supported.
Supports a wide range of ID based Industry Standard Applications.
Can meet Common Criteria at EAL4+ or higher.
Can support native, MULTOS, or JAVACARD O/S platforms
Supports Multefile ™.
Non-Volatile Memory range: from 1 Megabyte to 16 Megabyte
