GlobalPlatform numbers grow
GlobalPlatform has announced that China-based Wuhan Tianyu Information Industry Co has become the latest organisation to join the ranks of the smart card specifications body.
Wuhan Tianyu is a smart card solutions provider to the ID, telecoms, finance and security industries, and has experience of developing card and application systems based on GlobalPlatform’s suite of technical specifications.
Participating in GlobalPlatform activity as an Observer Member, Wuhan Tianyu representatives will take part in the association’s Advisory Council meetings.
Zhang Xinfang, CEO of Wuhan Tianyu says:
“Our membership of GlobalPlatform will provide us with an awareness of the current smart card specifications being developed to address the continuous evolution and convergence of the market.”
