Dynamic Card Solutions Expands Global Reach to Latin America
Dynamic Card Solutions (DCS), the leading instant card issuance and PIN selection provider for financial institutions, today announced that it has appointed Ryan Goss to head a team of industry experts dedicated to working with financial institutions in the Latin America and Caribbean markets.
Over 460 financial institutions and 5,000 branches worldwide are currently running DCS’ CardWizard® software and associated hardware to instantly issue contactless, magnetic stripe and EMV debit and credit cards at the branch, eliminating the costs, risks and delays associated with central issuance and subsequent delivery of payment cards and PIN mailers. Continuing to expand on DCS’ global reach, the Latin American market offers another substantial opportunity for financial institutions in that region who issue Visa® and MasterCard® chip-based cards.
“With over 12 years of experience in the Latin American market, Goss is the ideal person to help develop this area for us,” said Steve Suttman, president of DCS. “We are extremely pleased to have someone with such a deep understanding of the region head our Latin America team. DCS is focused on maintaining our market leadership in instant issuance by offering EMV migration and instant issuance products and services that are specifically tailored to serve our customers needs.”
“As the Latin American financial marketplace continues to mature, banks are continuously looking to improve their operational excellence and deliver superior customer service,” added Goss. “DCS’ industry-leading CardWizard EMV instant issuance solution enables them to simultaneously achieve both of these objectives. In addition, as more banks shift from magnetic stripe to smart card solutions, DCS is perfectly positioned to help banks through their transition. The company’s years of experience and highly qualified EMV team uniquely position us to deliver world class technology, service and support.”
DCS’ CardWizard integrates seamlessly with numerous core banking applications, card management systems, data preparation systems and services, branch automation platforms, and network providers. In addition, the design flexibility of CardWizard substantiates the long-term investment of the software as a safe choice, regardless of future changes to other bank applications along the way.
In addition, CardWizard is ideal for several card issuer scenarios, including: issuers that want to pilot EMV issuance without having to immediately commit to the full infrastructure investment; financial institutions that are currently using a bureau for EMV issuance that also want to instantly issue cards in the branch; issuers in the process of EMV migration that want to instantly issue cards; and for issuers that have not yet decided whether to centrally issue EMV cards through a bureau or issue cards in-house.
