First Data Give Attendees a Glimpse into the Future of Paying "On the Go"
As delegates at this year's Democratic National Convention (DNC) look ahead to the possibilities for the future of our country, they're also getting a glimpse into the future of how people will pay for goods and services.
First Data is showcasing a new payment technology to thousands of select media and delegates attending the DNC at Denver's Pepsi Center. In the form of a commemorative pin, it can be used as a payment device to purchase refreshments. The First Data GO-Tag Solution behind the pin uses contactless payment technology that's easy to use and makes shopping quick and convenient. This new technology eliminates the need to carry cash, credit or debit cards.
The First Data GO-Tag Solution will be available to consumers in the forms of stickers (attachable to personal items like mobile phones or employee badges), wristbands and novelty key chains.
