Comprion Completes the Range of Tests Described in the VZW LTE Device-UICC Interaction Test
COMPRIONs recently launched COMPRION SIMfony RS IMS test bench contains the IMS ISIM test cases for device inter-action testing specified by Verizon Wireless. With this package COMPRION is completing the range of tests described in the VZW LTE Device-UICC Interaction Test Plan.
The IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS) is used to enable SMS or voice services within the LTE network. The IP Multimedia Services Identity Module (ISIM) is an application running on a UICC smart card. It contains parameters for identifying and authenticating the user to the IMS. The ISIM coexists with the USIM or the CSIM on a multi-application UICC.
The new SIMfony RS IMS test solution tests the device interaction with the ISIM application. COMPRION SIMfony RS IMS consists of the Rohde & Schwarz LTE network simulator R&S®CMW500, the IMS Simulation R&S®CMW-KF576 and the COMPRION IT³/IT³ Prove! UICC/USIM/CSIM/ISIM Simulator.
With the new IMS ISIM tests COMPRION now adds the required ISIM chapter of the VZW COMPLIANCE TEST PLAN LTE DEVICE-UICC (USIM, ISIM) INTERACTION, VERSION 6.0 (09/2011) to its handset conformance test platform. COMPRION is already offering the respective test case packages LTE USIM/USAT, as well as CDMA2K CSIM/CCAT for LTE Multimode Terminal testing.
