Batelco sign agreement with Bahrain Islamic Bank for SimSim

Batelco, Bahrain Telecommunications Company and Bahrain Islamic Bank (BisB) have signed an agreement to offer BisB customers online facilities to refill their Batelco SimSim accounts.

The new agreement means BisB customers can refill their SimSim accounts from the comfort of their home or office, or even while travelling overseas, by simply dialling their bank's hotline (+973) 17515151 and following the instructions. The agreement will also permit BisB customers to refill their accounts via the bank's internet e-banking website.

Batelco Senior Manager Contracts & Materials Abdulla Al-Shaikh and BisB Assistant General Manager IT, Mohammed R. Shafiee signed the agreement at Batelco Headquarters in the presence of a number of Batelco and BisB senior management.

'Batelco is very pleased to enter into this new agreement with BisB,' said Batelco Senior Manager, Contracts & Materials Abdulla Al-Shaikh.

'BisB is the 5th bank to join our secured e-channels online refills. NBB (National Bank of Bahrain), BBK (Bank of Bahrain & Kuwait), SHB (Shamil Bank) and AUB (Ahli United Bank) are already in partnership with Batelco to offer the most convenient refill service to their customers.'

On the occasion, Mr. Al Shafiee said that BisB is pleased to announce that the bank has recently launched their new Interactive Voice Response (IVR) Hotline, through which BisB offers the most convenient and accessible ways for their customers to refill their Batelco SimSim accounts.'

'This service is available 24 hours a day to BisB customers wherever they are, and free of charge irrespective of their account type,' he assured.

Batelco and BisB, as part of their customer comes first commitment, continually assesses the needs and requirements of their consumer and business customers and regularly introduce new products and services that meet international standards.
